met as part of the opening staff of Talula’s Garden. Chris went on to cook at Talula’s Table, and Marina moved on to help open Fountain Porter. The couple then moved to San Jose del Cabo to run Flora's Field Kitchen, a restaurant on an organic farm which is considered to be one of the best true ‘farm to table’ restaurants in the world. Chris and Marina moved back to Philadelphia to take over ownership of Southwark Restaurant and Cocktail Bar with plans to expand soon after opening. The empty storage space connected through the kitchen quickly became a work in progress during their first year. Seven months after opening the doors at Southwark they are debuting their second restaurant, the type of restaurant they set out looking to open four years ago.
