After a two-year hiatus, co-owners Chef Chris D’Ambro and Marina de Oliveira have reformatted and reopened Ambra.

Ambra, located in the city’s Queen Village neighborhood and adjacent to their first restaurant Southwark, offers two distinct dining experiences. The Kitchen Table, a beautifully decorated space for 2-4 guests in the restaurant’s kitchen, provides front row seats to the talented and poised team of chefs at work. For larger groups, The Dining Room at Ambra can accommodate 5 to 10 guests by the invitation of the booking party.

For each experience, Chef D’Ambro and his team will prepare a multi-course tasting menu complimented by a beverage pairing that accompanies your meal.

The Dining Room

5-10 Guests, $280pp (Price inclusive of food, beverage, service and tax)

Ambra provides a multi-course experience complete with beverage pairings for parties of 5 – 10. Bring a group of people you love, to enjoy our perspective on the culinary traditions of Italy translated through food memories, storytelling, and local seasonal products. In a private room just for you and your chosen guests, we will kick off the evening with drinks and hors d’oeuvres as your party arrives. Our team will then lead you through a Modern Italian tasting menu based upon tradition and personal connection combined with fun and new dishes in a family style setting. The beverage pairing is included in the price and will spotlight producers of conscience and skill from all around the world. Expect iconic wines as well as young, boundary breaking producers. Plan on approximately three hours to properly enjoy your experience.

The Kitchen Table

2-4 Guests, $300/per person (Price includes food, beverage, service & tax)

Join us in our kitchen for an evening of great food, wine, and a bit of entertainment while seated in the heart of our restaurant where all of the excitement lies! Our culinary team will lead you through a Modern Italian tasting menu based upon tradition and personal connection, combined with innovative preparations that highlight our region’s finest products. You will enjoy a uniquely intimate view of a real working kitchen, a front row seat to a behind the scenes experience, while we cook and prepare dishes for both Southwark and Ambra. The beverage pairing is included and will spotlight producers of conscience and skill from all around the world. Expect iconic wines as well as young, boundary-breaking producers. We ask that you be respectful of the flow of service and understand there may be moments of peak stress when excess noise must cease. The Kitchen Table is not suitable for children as you can expect the evening to be energetic, boisterous, and at times NC-17. Plan on approximately three and a half hours for two to four guests.
